They say that when you've found your group of people, you know it. These are definitely my people.
Last weekend culminated our drama program's production of The Hobbit. The last show is always bittersweet, and this one was not an exception. Although we ran into some bumps along the way, and conflicts arose, and many of us had to kick into high gear to make it through, it turned out being a show that everyone was proud to be a part of.
Almost every single cast member had prosthetics on during the show.
My man, working hard (or hardly working...) on the set.
Luke, our Gandalf, was already tall, but he wore 4" platform shoes as well.
The battle scene left the crowd gasping- it included dwarves jumping off mountains and goblins sprinting around wielding swords.
Our Kili and Fili, Brynn and Capri. Two girls could not be more adorable (even with facial hair)
As the last few performances rush by, I'm always reminded to cherish the time I have left with the seniors. Although I loved last years group, this year it will be even more heart-wrenching when we have to say good bye. But we have two more shows before I have to think about that. Here's to another great year of performances :)
